Finca Facinas is a working hill farm set on the low southern side of a hill above the village of Facinas, on the Tarifa side of the Campo de Gibraltar. The stone house sits four rooms above the main terrace. Below it, two self-contained apartments run along the lower field, and the property extends over eleven hectares of open hill to the horizon.
On the morning of 2 August 2027, this is not scenery. The total solar eclipse of that date crosses the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, and this hill sits directly under the path of totality. When it matters — 10:45 CEST — the Sun stands about 38 degrees up in the east-southeast, and every terrace in the finca takes that eastern sky straight on. The houses were built so you never have to raise your head to watch day go out.
The pool and the long garden face the same way. There is a fire pit, a long table, and a six-car gravel yard. There are no televisions. There is one view, and it is the one you came for.
The four minutes and twenty-four seconds are measured, not marketed. Contact times at 36.1436° N, 5.7002° W, ~100 m (C1 09:40:45 / C2 10:45:03 / maximum 10:47:14 / C3 10:49:27 CEST) were computed with the official NASA Besselian-elements algorithm for the eclipse of 2027 August 2; the same implementation reproduces the published tables for the surrounding region to a few seconds — Tarifa, Cádiz and Jerez all agree. Finca Facinas sits in the Campo de Gibraltar, on the Atlantic-facing tip of the peninsula — among Europe's clearest skies all year, and the last Spanish ground the 2027 umbra crosses before it leaves the continent.

No deposit is taken on this page; the owners confirm dates and rates by email. The 2 August weekend is capped; the hill is not big enough for twelve tripods, so we coordinate the views.
